What is this????

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS IS?????

it's on Chris Rooker's Swedish 62 notch (the one below)

It is some sort of a fresh air inlet in the spare wheel well, behind the license plate.
Chris' Car is fitted with an Eberspacher petrol powered heater - can anyone confirm if this inlet forms part of that kit or is it just an aftermarket add on for some other reason.

My Norwegian notch has a factory fitted eberspacher too but this isn't where the air inlet is for mine which is weird.
