Project Kingsbury Update!!!!
Rob Kingsbury recently sent over to me a pile of pics (thanks for crashing my computer pal - 20MB worth of pics!!!!) giving me an update of the progress on the restoration of his 1964 1500S birch green notch. This is the same car we saw a few months ago setting of to Motorworks Restorations in Colorado Springs for a FULL rebuild. Then I paid the guys at Motorworks (Jeremy & Gary) a visit last month to check their work which believe me is phenomenal!!!!!

The paint is now on, all that is left to do is the clear coat and then the full reassembly - should be ready well in time for the 2007 Classic in sunny California and its home show at Bandimere drag strip in Denver.
Card templates were taken of the original roof line that seperated the white roof from the green body. The white roof appears to have been a dealer added feature on this notch so even if the roof line seems a bit different to others you have seen, it is an exact match to the roof that was on the car when rob got it - looks cool
Gary in action laying the white roof!
