It's been raining!

You might have heard - over here in the UK we have had our wettest June since record began! Terrible flooding in South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire (where I am!)

Thankfully my estate was fine, but I went out for a drive on Monday night in the 4x4 to check it out ! Not everyone has faired so well and there have even been a few deaths!!!!!

Doesn't look it but this was a good couple of feet deep.

The River Trent was at the highest I've ever seen it.
Little stream that runs down the side of the road was just about over flowing into the road and peoples gardens.
Have heard some horror stories about peoples V-Dubs stuck in their garages being flooded out! At the end of the day, they are only metal and just lucky that more people haven't been hurt!


Now let's all just keep out fingers crossed that the European weather brightens up a bit for this weekends European Bug-In !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
